Live-Chat and Social Media
Chat Marketing Group uses live chat and Live Chat Software trough our own website, third party websites and Social Media such as (but not limited too) Facebook and Twitter.
You can use the live chat as a contact form to chat with our staff. At the start of the chat, personal data is collected:

Date and time of the call, browser type/version,
IP address, operating system used, URL of the previously visited website, amount of data sent.
Other personal details such as name, email address etc if filled in on the chat form
Depending on the course of the conversation with our employees, further personal data may arise in the chat, which are entered by you. The type of data depends strongly on your request or the problem you describe to us.

All our employees have been and will be trained on the subject of data protection and on the safe and confidential handling of customer data. All our employees are bound to confidentiality and have accordingly signed an addendum to the obligation to maintain confidentiality and to observe data protection in their employee contracts.

If you Chat with us through the website of one of our clients, Chat Marketing Group operates as a “Data Processor” and will not share the data you enter in the chat session with anyone else except the organization that you that owns the website or holds the Social Media account that you started the chat on.
Chat Group Media functions solely as a data processor, such as a communication center for that organization.
This means that Chat Group Media will not share the information you enter during the chat (chat session) with any other third party then that organisation, other than to fulfill the requests and enquiries you made through that chat session and with your explicit consent, nor with Chat Marketing Group use this information for their own sales or marketing
activities.
Chat Marketing Group has a Data Processing Agreement with all his clients to guarantee your privacy.
If Chat Marketing Group uses partners and/or partner software to either facilitate the chat session or operate the live chat, Chat Marketing Group’s partner comply to this same privacy agreement. Chat Marketing Groups partners are all GDPR Compliant and Chat Group Marketing has GDPR Compliant agreements with all third parties outside the EU, in compliance with Article 44 of the GDPR and with the model agreements of the European Union Commission for EU controller to non-EU or EEA controller and/or EU controller to non-EU or EEA processor

When you visit a website that uses our chat services, the chat widget is loaded as a JavaScript file. The chat widget technically represents the source code that is executed on your computer and enables the chat.

Furthermore, Chat Marketing Group stores the chat record. This shall not only spare you the inconvenience of recalling the whole chat history of past chats when you ask for our assistance via live chat but shall also ensure an continuous quality control regarding our live chat. With a Chat Marketing Group account, you can sign into your Chat Marketing Group products, as well as those of select Chat Marketing Group partners. Personal data associated with your Chat Marketing Group account includes credentials, Company or Organisation name, your name and contact data, payment data, device and usage data, your contacts, information about your activities, and your interests and favorites. Signing into your Chat Marketing Group account enables personalization and consistent experiences across products and devices, permits you to use cloud data storage, allows you to make payments using payment instruments stored in your Chat Marketing Group account, and enables other features.

When a customer tries, uses, Chat Marketing Group Products or Services, or obtains support for or professional services with such products, Chat Marketing Group collects data to provide the service, including uses compatible with providing the service, provide the best experiences with our products, operate our business, and communicate with the customer.   • When a customer engages with a Chat Marketing Group sales representative, we collect the customer’s name and contact data, along with information about the customer’s organization, to support that engagement.
  • When a customer interacts with a Chat Marketing Group support professional, we collect device and usage data or error reports to diagnose and resolve problems.

If you provide personal Health data Chat Marketing Group, for example through a Live Chat Engagement with Marketing Group your health information is not combined with data from other Chat Marketing Group services, or used for other purposes then to pass on to the health provider and/or answer your (health related) question, without your explicit consent. Marketing Group does not use your health data to market or advertise to you without your opt-in consent.

Chat Marketing Group uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. This service is provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. If you provide data (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter, it will be stored on MailChimp servers in the USA.

MailChimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure
compliance with European privacy standards in the United States.

We use MailChimp to analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a file included in the email (called a web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the United States. This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links you
click on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to a specific recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to your interests.

If you do not want your usage of the newsletter to be analyzed by MailChimp, you will have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter we send. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

You may revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing to the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted from our servers and those of MailChimp.
